Before I gave my life to Christ, I was satisfied for the most part until our son Patrick was born.

I was working for my Dad in Sales.  One of our best customers was the Super Dairy across from High School.  One day when I entered the Establishment there was a beautiful young woman working there.  I said to myself "that's for me."

We were married 3 months later.  That was 49 years ago.  Our first were twin boys.  I felt like I was sitting on top of the world.  The oldest boy Patrick was injured at birth.  The doctor said he would only live a year.  He is still living at 47 years old.  Because of the injury he is severely mentally retarded.

When all this happened I did not know Jesus.  I became angry with God and I would shake my fist at Him, blaming Him.  A young minister came into my life and he introduced me to Jesus.  Jesus came into my life and gave me a reason for living.

After receiving Christ into my life a few years down the road I felt the call to become a Pastor.

We served in the ministry for 32 years.  We retired in 1993 due to poor health.  Since then we have done other ministries.

We feel our son Patrick is our greatest blessing.  Because of him I gave my life to Christ.  The Lord has used this experience of a retarded son to lead many others to Him.  Because of Jesus I have lived a full life.  Our children are all Christians serving the Lord in many ways.  God bless.
